will the real jesse jackson please stand up?

NAS has decided to name the title of his new album N****. Of course, everyone is making a big deal over that. some people feel as though he's setting back the urban community. He is using a word deemed offensive to african americans, who have rose above such deragatory slang, however, the word is still used amongst young African American people. they are one of the few groups of people that still uses demening slang as a term or endermant. "n**** is used by other african americans as term of respect or as a hate word, but it is not used by any other groups, becuase that would be considered offensive, even if it was said loveingly. a white person cannot say n****, at least not in front of a black person. but black people can say it. but what about mixed people? can they say it? you dont hear gay people saying to eachother what up fag? or jewish people calling eachother kyke. but black people can say nigga with no fear.

do i think nas should call his album nigga? no i do not. not unless the word becomes socially accepabale for ANYONE OF ANY RACE to say. and since thats not going to happen, the world needs to become less hypocritical.
